ASR Group publishes latest Sustainability Report

We are pleased to share ASR Group’s latest Sustainability Report, which sets out how we plan to meet our goal to be the most sustainable and ethical sugarcane company and achieve net zero carbon as fast as we can.

Highlights include achieving 100% sustainably sourced supply of purchased raw sugar for our Toronto and Lisbon Refineries, paying more than $11 million (USD) in Fairtrade Premiums to Fairtrade-certified Small Producer Organizations, and reinforcing and expanding our short, mid, and long-term climate change goals on our journey to net zero.

This report describes ASR Group’s work through Fiscal Years (FY) 2019, 2020, and 2021, while mainly presenting data from FY21.
